Research reveals Chieftain is in good health

Chieftain Fabrics has completed research across over 300 NHS Trusts to determine senior infection control and procurement personnel's main factors when choosing a vinyl upholstery. The study reveals a huge diversity in factors in choosing a vinyl coated fabric. Over 40% of Procurement Managers cited "Infection Control" as an important factor in their decision-making process. They also displayed a relatively high awareness of Chieftain Fabrics' ranges and their importance and relevance in a healthcare environment.

Meanwhile, it was found that Senior Infection Control personnel were much more interested in day to day requirements such as "durability" and "cleanability". Again, this sample proved largely aware of Chieftain Fabrics collections and the facts that they are highly durable and easily cleaned. They also felt compatibility with cleaning products was a huge factor, particularly Haz Tabs, Actichlor and Actichlor Plus, all of which are compatible with Chieftain.

Results also revealed that both Infection Control and Procurement contacts were a lot more aware of Chieftain Fabrics than any other vinyl upholstery supplier. Finally, the report concluded that a very high percentage of Trusts already have Chieftain Fabrics in situ in their facilities.
